Coir Blocks:
- Densely packed elongated mattress coir fiber block attached to a bristle coir woven fabric.
- Coir
fabric is tightly wrapped around the 16-in tall, 9-in wide and 10-ft
long block, and connected to the block on three sides. The fourth side
is open and can be filled with dirt.
- Each coir block has a male and a female end.
- Coir blocks create a strong and easy-to-handle connection by providing an excellent face to the soil layers.

What is soil bioengineering?
Soil bio-engineering incorporates
biological systems with engineering principles to restore soil and
protect water resources. So far, it is the only environmental technique
to restore degrading water edges like streambanks, shorelines, wetlands
etc. Natural biodegradable products provide the needed protection until
mature vegetation is established. Soil bio-engineering methods provide
sustainable strong water edges and habitats for terrestrial and aquatic
wildlife, and helps to filter run off water.
