Silt Barrier, Turbidity Curtain. Type 1 Economy Style, Suitable for calm water applications. Size: 50 X 05 feet deep. Ideal for the control of suspended silt & polluted sediment in water bodies. Made from 13 oz PVC coated fabric with 6 inch float. With 3/16 inch (4.7mm) galvanized ballast chain. Barrier connection method: grommets and cable ties. (Consider the accessories you may require, eg tow bridles, buoys and anchors).

The turbidity curtain type 1 is designed specifically for silt and turbidity control in calm waters such as swales, canals, small ponds and lakes and harbors. These turbidity screens are ideal for use along roadways for Department of Transportation D.O.T. projects and meet and exceed state requirement. Without a doubt, the type 1 silt barrier is one of the most frequently specified and used silt screen products in the United States as a site (BMP) best management practice and for NPDES compliance.
